Personal note

My name is Chris and I’m a Network Engineer. I achieved my CCNA Routing & Switching in June 2018 and my CCNP Routing & Switching in March 2019. In September 2021, after studying for over 2 years, I finally passed the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 lab exam and became CCIE #65551.

My areas of specialization are classical routing & switching, SDx (SD-Access and SD-WAN) and Automation (Python, RESTCONF and NETCONF) as well as bit of Security (mainly Cisco ISE, FirePOWER and Fortinet FortiGate). Besides that, I’m also doing some VMware vSphere and Linux stuff.

After passing the CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure v1.0 lab exam, I decided to revise all of my notes taken during my studies and make them available to everyone here. Sometimes they are (much) more detailed than actually required and/or are out of the scope of the lab exam blueprint.

Over the past few years, I’ve benefited from many people who shared their notes and learning outcomes (on blogs, forums, …) which helped me tremendously while I was studying for the CCNA, CCNP and CCIE. Consequently, with making my study notes available, I want to give something back to the network engineering community.

Even though the structure/content of my study notes is closely, if not almost identically, aligned to the CCIE Enterprise Infrastruture v1.0 lab exam blueprint and focused on it, I’m pretty sure that it is also useful for CCNP Enterprise candidates and even CCNA candidates as well as anyone else interested in those topics.
